Waiting on Wednesday (20): Forever Too Far (Too Far, #3) by Abbi Glines

I've been reading the romance genre pretty exclusively over the last few months. I've taken dips into contemporary adult romance, new adult and contemporary YA. One of the best outcomes of me reading this genre is that I discovered Abbi Glines. I have read her books faster than I've read any one other (besides Richelle Mead) and I love her books. That being said, her final book in the Too Far series comes out in June and I cannot wait!

Happy Wednesday... thank god we're almost to Friday. It's been one of those weeks! As most of you know, this weekly meme is hosted by Breaking the Spine to showcase those books that havent' been released and you can't wait to get your hands on them!

This week I'm featuring a book I've had my eye on for a while... and I have to keep my eyes on it until December! What a wait.

This books sounds like Romeo and Juliet meets Star Wars.. meaning it's my kind of story! It's so hard to find books centering around space travel that are actually well written and interesting. I've got high hopes for this one and I'm hoping I'm not setting myself up for disappointment. What do you guys think??

But this concept seems really cool. I've read reveiws that it's a fun, lighter read and I'm really looking forward to reading it!

I've been craving a good historical fiction. I am a huge, huge fan of medival times and books centering around that era and so this week I'm featuring Dark Triumph (his Fair Assassin, #2) by R.L. LaFevers.

I read Grave Mercy last year and fell head over heels in love. It's the perfect combination of history, intrigue, romance and death. I mean... it is a story about young woman being trained at a conent as assassins. LaFever's world will draw even those weary of historical fictions in as you can't help but root for all of the characters in their efforts to keep their government from falling into complete corruption.

Dark Triumph is set to center around another character in the story and I can't wait to read more about her. She was the mysterious outlying character that you couldn't quite understnad and I can't wait to read what LaFevers has in store for us this time!

I have been waiting for this book for so long. I have loved every, single book in the series that has come out so far. I even loved the short novella and the collection of short stories. (Check out my other reviews below!)

As a huge fan of Greek Mythology retelling, I can tell you that Carter is such a master and you can't help but fall in love with her stories. If you haven't read them yet, they are a must!

As most of you know, it's Wednesday again! That means it's time for Waiting on Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine!

I literally cannot wait for this book to come out. Lately, I've really been getting into contemporary romances. There's a lot of talk of the New Adult genre and I have to say, I'm diggin' it! I love that the age of the main characters is around mine and I feel like I can truely relate to the characteres in a way that I can't when reading a traditional romance novel.

If you haven't read Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire yet, definitely pick it up. It's a fun and fast read that will keep you drooling for weeks. I loved Travis's character and while I'm a little weary about reading from a male's point of view in a romance novel, I'm willing to take a chance on this one.

The book I picked this week is Nameless by Lili St. Crow. This modern retelling of Snow White sounds so interesting and different. I'm currently reading Cinder, a retelling of Cinderella and I'm falling in love with the story and the characters. These unique fairy tales bring me back to my childhood and make me so happy. The creativity that these authors bring to these storiesis simply tremendous and I can't wait to read even more of them.

Waiting on Wednesday (7): The Sequels Version

It's time for my 7th go at  Waiting on Wednesday post! As most of you know, W.O.W. is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine that helps bloggers showcase those books that they can't wait to get their hands on!  I'm changing things up a little bit this week and going with a few different picks, rather than just one!


Normally, I try and pick a book that is not the sequel to a series that is super popular that I've enjoyed. I like to mix things up! This week, I've decided it's time to showcase those book twos and book threes that I"m dying to get my hands on to help shed some light on some pretty awesome series. I'm sticking to books that are coming out this winter/spring so let me know what you guys think!

                                       The Elite (The Selection, #2) by Kiera Cass.

I simply LOVED The Selection by Kiera Cass. It was one of my favorite books that I read this year and I cannot wait to dive into the next installment of the series that comes out this April. This story took me completely by surprise and I hope you're excited too!

                                       Everbound (Everneath, #2) by Brodi Ashton

The first book in the series, Everneath, was a dark and  twisted story that was just what I was looking for in a YA book. It had romance, danger and tragedy like any good myth retelling should.. This different take on the Persephone myth had me drooling for more and Everbound comes out in January!

                            Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #3) by Cassandra Clare 

Now this book, is my most anticipated book of next year. I literally cannot wait until this book arrives at my door from Amazon. I believe I've had it pre-ordered since last summer. The first two books in the series were stunning reads and I can't wait for the conclusion of this prequel series... also I think it will give us some answers into the Mortal Instruments books as well... eeep! March can't come soon enough!

Well folks, this is my 4th Waiting on Wednesday post! As most of you know, W.O.W. is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine that helps bloggers showcase those books that they can't wait to get their hands on!

If ever there was a book that was right up my alley, this would be it. As soon as I saw the cover of Poison, I knew that I had to read it! If you've read any of my reviews, you know I love a good bad-ass lead female character and Kyra looks like the queen of kicking butt and taking names!

March is going to be a busy month for this little reader with this book, Clockwork Princess, and the other lovely books coming out that month. I may just have to quit working for a month!!!

Waiting on Wednesday (3) - Hollow by Richard Denney

Waiting on Wednesday post 3 which is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking The Spine!

Now I'm pretty picky about the Dystopian future novels that I read, but this one sounds pretty interesting! A creepy manor house and human trafficking, what's not to be interested in? In all reality, I think this book looks unique and very interesting. It seems like it will be an plain, old fashion mystery with a little dystopia mixed in and I can't wait!

This week, I'm waiting on Ironskin by Tina Connolly that comes out October 2nd, 2012. I've copied the little blurb from good reads above so check it out! What first drew me to this book was the cover and that it was about the fey. I've been in the mood for a good faerie book and fingers crossed that this one does it for me! I recently read a not so stellar review that said this was a play on Jane Eyre and the reviewer didn't like the similarities to one of their favorite classics. While I haven't read Jane Eyre, I hope that I fall in love with this one. It sounds great! What are you waiting on?
